Do I need a driving licence?
No. Every jeep safari is fully guided and driven by our operator's own licensed, insured driver. Nobody in your group needs a licence.
How does booking and payment work?
You reserve your spot with a small online payment — €20 per adult, €15 per child, or €150 flat on a private jeep. That's the whole amount you pay us. The rest of the tour price is paid in cash to the driver on the day. Cancel more than 24 hours out and the reservation fee is refunded in full.
Do you pick up from my hotel?
Yes, free hotel pickup from all main Paphos-area hotel receptions, including Coral Bay. If you're staying somewhere less central, we'll agree a nearby meeting point when you book.
Can we visit the Blue Lagoon?
Yes — the Jeep & Blue Lagoon safari includes a boat trip out to the Blue Lagoon itself, with time to swim. The Akamas safari also stops there for a swim in the summer months.
Is lunch included?
There's a lunch stop on every tour, but lunch itself is optional and paid separately — €15 per adult, €10 per child, in cash to the driver. It includes red and white wine, water and juice.
Is it suitable for young children?
Yes. Children aged 2–11 travel as passengers at the child rate, and under-2s ride free on a parent's lap. Booster and child seats are available for €5 extra.
Which days do the tours run?
Akamas and Jeep & Blue Lagoon run Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Troodos runs Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Other days are sometimes possible on request.
How long does a jeep safari take?
Every jeep safari is a full day — around 8 hours from pickup. Hotel pickups run between roughly 07:45 and 09:15 depending on your area, and you get your exact time when you book. Plan on being out for the whole day.
Is there an afternoon, evening or sunset jeep safari?
No. All jeep safaris are full-day tours with a morning pickup, so there is no afternoon start, evening or sunset option. If you only have part of a day free, message us and we’ll tell you honestly whether anything fits.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can. Each tour runs on set days and seats on a popular date do fill up, so the date you want isn’t always free at short notice. Same-day and next-day places are sometimes possible — message us and we’ll check what’s actually open.
What should I bring and what should I wear?
Wear trainers or walking shoes rather than flip-flops — some stops are rough underfoot. Bring water, a camera, and swimwear for the Akamas and Jeep & Blue Lagoon tours, and for Troodos in summer. Lunch is paid in cash on the day, so bring cash if you want it.
Can you take a group of more than 10?
Yes. Our operator runs nine jeeps, and one jeep takes up to 10 when you’re all travelling as a group — so a party of 20 is exactly two jeeps, out together on the same tour. Seats are checked by hand rather than booked instantly, so send us your date and headcount and we’ll come back with what’s actually free. Private jeeps are priced per vehicle, so two jeeps means two private prices.
Can you cater for dietary requirements at lunch?
Tell us when you book and we’ll check with the restaurant before your tour. Lunch is optional either way — €15 per adult, €10 per child, cash to the driver on the day — so you can skip it and bring your own food instead.
What kind of jeep will we be in? Is it air conditioned?
A Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series safari jeep. The jeeps are closed and fully air conditioned, not open-top — Cyprus summer heat would make an open vehicle hard work over a full day. Seating is bench-style, five down each side and one in front beside the driver, so everyone gets a window seat and a view. Each jeep is licensed for 11 passengers and takes up to 10 when one group books it privately.
